Updates on the New Farm
As reported in August, a large farm is being established by Etienne, with the help of many. We have since learned more about the source and vision behind this incredible grant of 61 acres of undeveloped land. Elzer Emile, Haitian National Economist and son of the past president of MEBSH knows Etienne’s skills, faithfulness, and dedication to improving the lives of others. Mr. Emile’s vision is for Etienne to create a working farm to grow crops to sell and donate, teach farmers, increase the variety of food crops, produce seeds, and improve food security. 65 farmers have already signed up to participate.
Haiti Ap Grandi will provide as much support as we can to get the most out of this tremendous gift and the opportunity to raise the standard of living for so many hardworking but hungry people.
